We got to Hope Wednesday evening. We had been trying to leave all day. It takes me forever to pack for three kids. Over the summer I had it down to a science, but we haven't been anywhere in a while so I was out of my packing groove! The boys were happy to be in Hope! (Even though John doesn't look it! Ha!)
The next morning we played outside before Thanksgiving lunch. My Aunt Debra stopped by to drop off her famous mac-n-cheese and fried pies before heading to see her sisters. The boys always love her and just talk to her. She is always so interested in them!
Watching Santa arrive at the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade! Tradition!
Waving at Santa.
My brown-eyed boys!
Mom had the table set so pretty. She always does!
Ramsey and John with Cousin Cole. They played outside almost the entire time we were there!
John's cute boots. I bought him frog boots at Target and he said, "I'm not wearing those. They look like a baby. I want monster boots." Then I bought him camo boots at Walmart. He said he still would rather have monster boots. I googled "monster boots" and found these. He loves them!
James got in trouble and I'm so glad I captured this on camera. If only I had my video camera in hand! He kept digging dirt out of Berry's flower pot with his hands after I told him to stop. Like I told him to stop more than once and he looked me straight in the eyes and kept doing it! Not sweet baby James, right? Corey put him in time out for about a minute and James was so upset. I love how AFTER he gets in trouble and is in time out, Corey talks to him about what happened then gives him a hug. Sweet, but firm Daddy!
Getting pumped up for the Hog game!
Even though the Hogs didn't when, we still had fun...or for at least the first half!
Happy Thanksgiving to all! We have much to be thankful for!!!

Gretchan, I just love this! Your family always seems to have the most wonderful time when they're together-- so special! And I can't lie-- that little montage of James' timeout is one to keep for him to see when he's older! Such a sweet family :)
Okay, those sweet boys are perfect stair steps. So so sweet!
