Halloween Parties

I don't know who is cuter in this picture!  My boy, John or that fun witch on his sack?  John came home from school with this sack full of Halloween treats from his friends.  He loves going through these big sacks on party days.  He is pretty serious about the treats his gives too!  I remember having to wait until he got home from an errand with Corey for him to help fill his treat bags.  He was so worried that I would make the treat bags while he was gone!  I promised him I would wait and I did.  He filled every treat bag for each of his friends.
The finished treat bag filled with pretzels, spider rings, bracelets, parachute skeletons, crazy eyeglasses, Halloween stamps, Skittles, play dough, stickers, fruit chewies, bouncey balls, etc.  It picked it ALL out!  Parents don't really attend the parties at John's preschool so I don't have any pictures from it.  I'm sure John had a wonderful time!

Ramsey's party was around 2:00.  Mom and Corey were at home to keep James and John while I helped out with Ramsey's party....
I brought treat bags for the kids filled with about the same things John's had in them.  I thought it would be cute to roll James' wagon up there, throw a black table cloth on it, and fill it with the treat bags and a cute witch mom gave me.  The kids loved it and were very excited to get those treat bags!
I also made these fun fruit treats.  I must say these were a big hit with the kids!  Everybody wanted to eat their fruit!  I just cut one end off of the an orange, pulled all the insides out of the orange, and carved out a face.  Then I filled it with cut strawberries and grapes.  To finish it off, I added a green spoon to eat the fruit with through the top as the "stem".

I also found these buckets at Walmart.  I just added ribbons and each child's name to make it a little more personal.  The kids carried these around the classroom to each station and to put their candy, crafts and anything else they wanted to take home in them.
Another parent brought these cute pumpkin sandwiches!
And another these colorful mini cupcakes.

They had a mummy making contest!  The kids also made cute spiders and painted pumpkins!

I had a great time at the party, but wow!...Those kids have a lot of energy!
