James had an appointment at Arkansas Children's Hospital. Here he is waiting to see the doctor. He loved looking in that funny mirror behind him. I thought he looked especially cute that day! He had a good report from ACH!
We've been cheering the Hogs on to victory a lot lately!
James loves, loves, loves balls. Always has! He wanted to sleep with his football that night so I let him. I went back in to check on him before I went to bed and found him like this! So sweet!
Ramsey went to a cute, fun Fall/Halloween birthday party in a pretty park one afternoon. It was a beautiful day and the kids had a great time on an awesome scavenger hunt! I don't have a child born in October, but I think it would be a neat month to plan a birthday party. So many fun ideas!
These are pictures taken off of Ramsey's school website.....
One morning Ramsey's school had safety day. Baptist MedFlight landed right in front of the kids on their school grounds, two police cars came, two firetrucks, an ambulance, and a bike and sports safety station were all part of the day! Ramsey is in the middle checking out the helicopter.
Tall ladder on the firetruck.
One day the Arkansas Symphony Orchestra came to talk to the children about the ASO. Ramsey was chosen to "play" the bass.
The full orchestra!
Here are some phone pictures.........
This was Ramsey's first trip to the orthodontist. He is holding his "Smile Show" ticket that they gave him as a school excuse. It was an evaluation appointment, but Ramsey was so nervous! Everyone at the orthodontist office made him feel so much better! His name was flashing on a big screen when we walked in saying, "Welcome Ramsey!" He kind of giggled when he saw that! There were video games to play and cool stuff to look at while you wait. The orthodontist talked to us for a long time. He and Ramsey talked a lot about fishing and football. Then Ramsey was x-rayed and then examined. After that we talked with the orthodontist about treatment. Right now we are waiting on Ramsey to loose some teeth and we will go back in March. Ramsey may have to have some things done to get ready for braces in a few years, like an expander, for example. James was with Ramsey and I and we couldn't leave with out a little drama. He was getting so much attention from the staff and was really feeling his oats when he fell into the orthodontist chair and hit a big screw. His head bled and bled and luckily he did not need stitches! He cried and cried and I was sweating and sweating! As pleasant of an experience as it was up to that point, I was so ready to get out of there! Ramsey ended up thinking his appointment was pretty great. Really, really nice people!
The firetruck was ready and waiting on the children as we took John to school one morning. The learned about fire safety from the firemen.
Fair food! JJ and Adam took Ramsey and John to the fair one afternoon. They had a blast!
James was missing as I was getting some things out of the car. I found him sitting in the back seat eating a blow pop!
First Haircut!!! It was not planned! I went in for John to get a trim and she talked me into giving James one too! I was in denial and it was time! He had very long wispies as we like to call them. When we went in that day his hair was out of control and she said, "Please let me do something with James' hair." I kept telling her I wasn't ready! She said, "You know I love you but... You are so particular and yet you let him run around like that!" Ha! That did it. I let her cut it! He was so good and felt like such a big boy! She took probably two inches off! She said promised she would not give him a little boy haircut and she didn't!
I looked in my rear view mirror one day and saw this! He loves his pacis!
Bonfire boys!
