We had Christmas in Hope the weekend before Christmas weekend. Bop and Berry were in Little Rock on that Friday so Ramsey decided to ride home with them. The rest of us went down on Saturday and found Ramsey playing basketball. Apparently Ramsey and Bop had been playing a lot of basketball while waiting on us to get there! Ramsey loves being down in Hope!
James kicked his soccer ball around.
John eating an apple after feeding the deer the rest of the bag of apples.
Dad showed off his "redneck wine glass" that he received as a gag gift. He is so proud of that thing! It is pretty funny!
Mom cooked a great dinner of chicken spaghetti, salad, and garlic bread. Of course we had our traditional "poppers" with a little trinket, crown, and a joke inside.
I really dressed up for dinner! Ha! I wasn't feeling well, had two fever blisters and sort of worn out. I was glad to be in Hope and have my mom cook for me!
The boys opened one present that night from Bop and Berry and saved the rest to open on Christmas. They got two new Wii games, NFL Madden 12, which Ramsey loves and Michael Jackson The Experience. It was funny and cute to watch them dance to that! James got a super cute dump truck!
The next morning we went to church with mom and dad. It's always a three ring circus at church it seems. They were pretty good and I know mom and dad were glad to have them there. Normally after church during Christmas time we take a big family picture. This was all we got this year. Ramsey walked straight in the door and went upstairs to bed in his church clothes. He had been deer hunting that morning with Uncle Gray. After getting up at 5:00am, he was so tired! Mom took off to the store and Dad changed clothes...so Corey took my picture with my brown eyed boys.
Even though we weren't still dressed up, We snapped a few pictures before we left that evening.
I told Ramsey and John to give James a kiss on the cheek and he immediately covered his cheeks. Then he sat there like that for several minutes!
Mom and Dad's pretty front door.
Their tree with tons of ornaments on it!
The antique aluminum tree.
Although it was a short visit, we had a great Christmas in Hope this year. Great memories made again!
I believe...
