Last Friday, John's school had their Christmas party. It was a Polar Express party. They wore their pajamas, wrapped up in blankets and listened to the story The Polar Express. After the story, they ate waffles and had a good time passing out the treats they brought for the class. Parents don't attend the party, but I did walk him in to help carry the treats and Miss Bonnie's gift. John was very excited about this special day!
John wanted to give his class Santa hats and big bells.
John with his sweet teacher!
Before leaving his classroom, I glanced at the door. John told me he write a letter to Santa and Miss Bonnie made a copy of it for everyone and Miss Bonnie wrote down what they wanted. All the kids' letters were hanging on the door so I asked Miss Bonnie exactly what John was talking about. She said that she had him write the letter to Santa for her and then she made a copy for each child, she wrote down what they wanted and then they signed their name. I was so proud of John! His handwriting looks great to me...almost like a "Dear Santa" font! Ha!
The party was a success! John came home with this big sack filled with goodies from his friends!
