A Couple of January Happenings

Last Sunday we went to the Children's Theatre at the Arkansas Arts Center. We have been to a few plays before and they are always so good! We really need to try to go more. Some friends won the bid on six tickets at a silent auction and asked Ramsey and I and another friend and mom to join them. Of course we said yes and were excited to see Goldilocks and Little Red Riding Hood. It was a CRAZY hilarious play that we all enjoyed!
Thanks H. for inviting us!

The Children's Theatre is always fun!  The two plays left in this season are "A Mouse Goes to School" and "The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe".  Maybe we will get to see another sometime soon.
John didn't mind staying at home with Corey and James while Ramsey and I went to the play.  John got to ride his bike!  Corey took John's training wheels off so he has been showing off his skills.  Yay! John!  So proud of you!  They rode bikes, went on a long bike ride in the bike trailer while Corey rode and played and played.  I think John was excited to have Corey almost to himself.

These two have been two peas in a pod lately.  With Ramsey at school all day and as James has gotten older, they have had a real chance to bond.  James loves his older brother and John thinks James is hilarious!  Today James came to me and said, "John's crying.  He's sad.  Come here."  Then he motioned for me to go to John's room.  I went in and asked John what was wrong and he said, "I'm sad."  James said, "Why?"  It was because a Lego car he was working on broke.  My point is that James was so sweet and was so concerned about John.  He is growing up, talking in complete sentences and just seems older lately.  It's bittersweet!  John is so good with James (most of the time).  He is helpful and eager to show James new things.  James definitely has his two year old moments but it has been fun to watch them lately.  Brothers.
